Watch: Jack White showcases his Fender custom guitars during fiery Saturday Night Live performance
From an Acoustasonic to his Low Rider Tele.
Jack White showcased two of his Fender custom models as he played three songs on last Saturday’s SNL show.
The performance from 25th February saw White play A Tip From You to Me and a Taking Me Back/Fear of the Dawn mashup – all tracks from his two 2022 albums Fear of the Dawn and Entering Heaven Alive.
White began on a one-off Acoustasonic Telecaster to play A Tip From You to Me – the first track off Entering Heaven Alive.
But the set was concluded by a fiery compilation of Taking Me Back and Fear of the Dawn, tracks One and Two off Fear of the Dawn.
The mashup was performed on White’s Fender Three-Wheel Motion Low Rider Telecaster which was showcased alongside the Acoustasonic in a recent Paris pro-shot concert.
You can watch the full performances below:
White received his first Acoustasonic Telecaster from the Fender Custom Shop in 2019, designed by Chip Ellis.
It was made to look like the guitarist’s previous Gretch model, named “Claudette”.
The performer has also just returned from his 2022 The Supply Chain Issues Tour, from which there will be a live album released.
The record is expected to hit shelves by Autumn and will be titled Jack White Live: The Supply Chain Issues Tour under his Third Man Records label.
