Billie Joe Armstrong (born 1972) is an American punk-rock singer/songwriter and guitarist, best known for his work with Green Day. He is currently signed to Reprise Records, and has released several acclaimed albums with the band since 1994, including Dookie (1994), American Idiot (2004), and Revolution Radio (2016). Armstrong has won 5 Grammy Awards.
