Jerry Cantrell (born 1966) is an American rock musician and singer-songwriter who blends grunge and alternative metal. He is the lead guitarist, co-lead vocalist and main songwriter for the rock band Alice in Chains. His solo albums, Boggy Depot (1998) and Degradation Trip (2002) have earned him critical acclaim. His latest album, 'Degradation Trip Vol. 2' was released in 2018. He has won multiple Grammy nominations and a Billboard Music Award.
