Kansas, formed in 1972, is a progressive rock band with touches of hard rock and pop. Key albums include "Leftoverture" (1976) and "Point of Know Return" (1977). Their most recent album as of my last update in 2021 was "The Absence of Presence" (2020). They're known for hits like "Carry On Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind".
