Mateus Asato (b. 1998) is a Brazilian guitarist and composer renowned for his fusion of classical and modern music. He started playing guitar at age 5 and has gone on to release 4 albums, the latest being 'Dezembro' (2020). His label is Concord Records and he is known for his smooth jazz, funk and Latin-inspired instrumental compositions. He has been awarded Best Guitarist in the 2019 Latin Grammy Awards.
