Yngwie Malmsteen (born 1963) is a Swedish neoclassical metal guitarist, composer, songwriter, and bandleader. He has released 20 studio albums since 1984, including Rising Force (1984), Trilogy (1986), and Perpetual Flame (2008). His latest album, Blue Lightning, was released in 2019 via Music Theories Recordings. Yngwie has won a Grammy Award and multiple other awards.
