The Hotel Cafe, a live music institution for singer-songwriters in Hollywood, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with filmed performances by artists who have “been a part of the venue’s legacy over the last two decades”.
Held on Instagram TV, The Hotel Cafe: 20 Years In 20 Days kicked off yesterday with performances and special anniversary messages from Wrabel, ROZZI and Arlissa (seen below).
The Hotel Cafe will share performances from over 60 artists, every day until 2 May. The likes of Jason Mraz, Tom Morello and Damien Rice are just some of the artists scheduled to appear.
“Some [performances] were filmed from home, some at studios, and even some at Hotel Cafe,” the venue explained in an Instagram post. “We’ll be sharing a few videos each day right here on our IGTV.”
A handful of guitar aces are set to appear this week. Later today (13 April), the Hotel Cafe will share videos from Zane Carney. Meanwhile, James Bay, David Ryan Harris and Ariel Posen will appear on Friday (16 April).

The Hotel Cafe originally opened for business as a coffee shop, before growing into a nightly live music venue. Adele, Billie Eilish and Ed Sheeran are just some of the artists who gave early-career performances at the Hollywood venue.
