The American Original Series guitars from Fender capture the classic vibe of their legendary guitars of bygone decades, with modern features, components, build technology, and feel. The American Original '60s Stratocaster captures that transition era vibe of a '65 Strat. With a nitrocellulose finished body of solid alder, and the classic 1960's C shaped neck profile combined with a modern 9.5 inch radiused fretboard with vintage style tall frets, it's equally comfortable for soloing or rhythm playing. A trio of Pure Vintage '65 single coil pickups are as historically authentic as possible, including cloth-covered wires, fibre bobbins and alnico V magnets and are wax potted to control feedback and wired through a modern 5 way switch. Vintage style tuners, a classic 6-point synchronized tremolo bridgeand aged white knobs, pickup covers, and switch tip complete the 60's look and feel.
